The Xavier's Commerce Society is one of the most prestigious and sought after societies in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. It embodies the drive and vigour that portrays a Xaverian and pursues to impart a multitude of opportunities and apertures to aid students in gaining enriching corporate exposure and experience. The society, with every initiative it conducts, seeks to enhance, augment as well as advance its capacities with each passing day. Since its inception in 2006, it has weathered every obstacle in its wake, as well as shifting to an entirely online medium for conducting its events, while also being able to adapt to a hybrid mechanism; and ultimately transitioning back to an offline medium – all of which underlines its dedication and determination to fulfill its objectives. By organizing holistic events throughout the academic year, which focuses on all aspects of modern-day management, the society ensures that every student is taught practical lessons as it believes that education should transcend academic books.

Every year Youthink is launched following the resounding success of its previous editions and has been able to reach new milestones with its notable articles and interviews of luminaries from India and abroad. The articles are authored by students, professors as well as some respectable thinkers from around the world. It also has the distinction of having its very own ISSN ID [2347-6222], which makes it an internationally recognized journal. Youthink Vol. XI was also acknowledged by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. In the past, it has collaborated with prominent luminaries like Shah Rukh Khan, Shashi Tharoor, Abhinav Bindra, Sachin Tendulkar, Mohammed Ansari and Lord Jeffery Archer to name a few.
At XCS, we also focus beyond the realms of corporate exposure and try to give back to society in equal measure. In this regard, we have conducted various social drives and outreach campaigns to highlight the importance of disseminating information as well as happiness in our surroundings and society at large. Some of our ventures include visiting NGO’s, distributing essentials as well as organizing special awareness programs on a multitude of occasions.
